800042 HACCP Food Safety Thermometer
The Sper 800042 HACCP Food Safety Thermometer is designed for compliance with HACCP food safety handling principles. The LCD display flashes RED for temperatures measured in the unsafe range from above 39.2°F (4°C) or below 140°F (60°C). With temperatures below 39.2°F , and above 140°F the display flashes GREEN. For ease in doing inspections the 800042 can log 99 data sets of date, time, temperature, max/min/avg, delta. This data can be recalled for display on the LCD. A count-down timer is available. A user programmable audible and visible alarm can set for when temperature exceeds a set value. The display shows temperature, date, time, delta and low battery indicator. The 800042 is IP67 water resistant; and a hold function is available.
Temperature is sensed using a highly accurate stainless steel Pt100 resistance probe with less than 1 second response. The 800042C is available with NIST traceable certification with annual recertification also available.
